Fit & sizing

How does sizing work?

Our caps are one size and made to fit most adult teeth. Every product page lists the exact size in millimetres under Details. As a guide:

  • Single caps are about 8–9 mm wide and 10–13 mm tall, and fit one top or bottom tooth.
  • Double caps cover two neighbouring teeth and are about 14–20 mm wide.

To check, hold a ruler against the tooth (or two teeth) you'd like to wear it on and compare. Not sure? Email us and we'll help you choose.

Do I need a dentist or a mould of my teeth?

No. Our Star Cut-Out Grillz Set and most of our double caps come with moldable silicone or molding bars, so you shape the fit at home in a few minutes:

  • Soften the silicone in hot water (70–80°C / 158–176°F) for 15–30 seconds. Don't use boiling water.
  • Place the piece over your teeth and bite down gently so the silicone takes their shape.
  • Not happy with the fit? Simply repeat until it feels right.

Each product page lists exactly what's included.

Which tooth should I wear it on?

Most people choose a side tooth, like the canine or the tooth next to the front tooth, for a subtle flash of shine when they smile. Single caps fit one top or bottom tooth; double caps sit on two neighbouring teeth.

What if it doesn't fit?

First, try re-moulding: you can soften and reshape the silicone as many times as you need. If it still doesn't work, contact us within 14 days of delivery. Unused pieces in their original packaging can be returned. For hygiene reasons, caps that have been fitted or worn can't be resold, so we may reduce or decline the refund unless the item is faulty. That's why we list every size, so you can check before you order.

Wearing & comfort

Does it hurt?

No. Caps simply slip over your tooth, and tooth gems sit on the surface of the tooth. Nothing is drilled. Caps can feel a little unusual for the first two or three wears; after that they feel much more natural.

Can I eat, drink and sleep with them?

Caps and grillz: take them out before eating and sleeping. You can talk, smile and take photos with them in.

Tooth gems: they stay on, so you can eat and drink as normal. Just avoid biting hard foods directly on the gem.

Will it change the way I talk?

A small cap on one or two teeth usually doesn't change your speech. Larger sets can feel different at first, and most people get used to them within a few wears.

How long do tooth gems last?

With proper application and care, tooth gems can last from several months to a couple of years. Brush gently around your gem and avoid biting hard foods directly on it.

How do I clean them?

Caps: rinse with clean water after each wear, let them dry completely and store them somewhere clean and dry.

Tooth gems: keep brushing as usual, gently around the gem.

Safety

Are they safe for my teeth?

Caps are temporary and removable, and tooth gems are attached to the surface with adhesive. Nothing is drilled. For the best and safest result we recommend having gems applied by a trained tooth gem technician, and checking with your dentist first if you have any concerns. Our products are for cosmetic use only and aren't a substitute for dental care.

Will tooth gems damage my enamel?

Tooth gems are bonded to the surface, not drilled into it. When you want a gem removed, a dentist or technician takes it off and polishes away the adhesive. Please don't pry a gem off yourself, as that's what can damage your tooth.

Can I use them with braces, veneers, crowns or fillings?

Tooth gem adhesive bonds best to natural enamel. If you have braces, veneers, crowns, bonding or fillings where you'd like to place a gem or cap, ask your dentist first.

I have a metal allergy. Can I wear your caps?

Our caps are fashion jewelry made from plated metals such as copper, brass or zinc alloy (each product page lists the exact material). If you have a metal allergy or sensitive gums, check with your doctor or dentist before wearing them, and stop wearing any piece that causes irritation.

Is the UV light safe to use?

The mini UV light is only used for a few seconds at a time to set the adhesive. Point it at the gem, never at your eyes, and follow the instructions included with your kit.

Is there an age limit?

Yes. Our products aren't suitable for children, and you need to be 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order.

Materials & quality

Is it real gold?

No. Our pieces are fashion jewelry: plated metal (copper, brass or zinc alloy) with a gold, silver or rose gold finish, and some designs have 14K or 18K gold plating. That's how we keep prices friendly. The exact material is listed on every product page.

Are the stones real diamonds?

No. We use zircon, cubic zirconia and crystal stones, which give a bright sparkle at a fraction of the price of diamonds.

Will the colour fade or tarnish?

Plated finishes last longest with a little care: rinse after wearing, dry completely, store somewhere dry, and keep them away from chemicals, skincare and hair products. Like all plated jewelry, the finish can wear over time with heavy use.

Will it look like the photos?

Our close-up product photos show the actual designs. Some lifestyle images are styled or digitally created to show how a piece can be worn, and colours can look slightly different on different screens. Sizes are listed on every product page, so you know exactly what to expect.

Tooth gems & DIY

Can I apply tooth gems myself?

Yes. Our Tooth Gem Kit with UV Light includes crystal gems, bonding resin, a mini UV light, a gem picker and cotton rolls. It takes just a few minutes:

  • Clean and fully dry the tooth.
  • Apply a small dot of bonding resin.
  • Place your gem.
  • Cure it with the UV light until set.

For the best and safest result, especially the first time, we recommend a trained tooth gem technician.

What else do I need?

The Tooth Gem Kit with UV Light has everything you need. Our loose gem sets (Mini Tooth Gem Set, Shaped Tooth Gem Kit and 12-Grid Crystal Gem Box) don't include adhesive, so add our Tooth Gem Adhesive or choose the kit. A Cheek Retractor makes it much easier to keep your teeth dry while you work.

What's the UV light for?

It sets the glue. The bonding resin in our Tooth Gem Kit stays soft until UV light shines on it, so you can take your time placing the gem exactly where you want it. Once it's in place, hold the light right up to the gem for the time given in your kit's instructions and the resin hardens, locking the gem onto your tooth.

If a gem comes loose early, the resin usually wasn't cured long enough. Hold the light closer and for the full time.

What if my gem falls off?

That usually means the tooth wasn't completely clean and dry, or too little adhesive was used. Clean the tooth, dry it well and apply a fresh gem.

How do I remove a tooth gem?

We recommend having a dentist or trained technician remove your gem so your tooth surface isn't damaged. Don't try to pry it off.

Shipping & customs

How long does shipping take?

Shipping is free and tracked on every order. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and usually arrive within 7–15 business days. We ship to the US, the EU, the UK, Norway and Switzerland. See our Shipping Policy for details.

Why does delivery take 1–2 weeks?

Some orders ship to you from outside your country, which takes a little longer than a local store. In return, every order ships free with tracking.

Will I have to pay customs or import fees?

Some orders are shipped from outside your country. Depending on where you live, your country may charge import duties or taxes when the parcel arrives. These are the customer's responsibility unless they were already charged at checkout.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your order ships, we'll email you a tracking link. It can take a few days before the first updates appear. If you haven't received it within 5 business days, please get in touch.

I ordered several items. Why did only some arrive?

Different pieces can ship separately and arrive on different days, at no extra cost to you. Check your tracking emails for each package.

My order hasn't arrived. What now?

If your order hasn't arrived within 30 business days of shipping, or tracking says it was delivered but you don't have it, email us with your order number and we'll help sort it out.

Returns & payment

Can I return my order?

Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to let us know you'd like to return an item. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. For hygiene reasons, sealed items can't be returned once opened, and worn or fitted caps and applied tooth gems may not qualify for a full refund. See our Refund Policy for details.

What if my order arrives damaged or wrong?

Email us with your order number and a photo, ideally within 14 days of delivery. We'll send a replacement or give you a full refund, and you won't pay anything for shipping.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Email us as soon as possible. If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll cancel it and refund you in full. Address changes are possible until the order ships.
